About Me

Shamsher Dhillon was born on July 27, 1966, in Jalandhar Doaba, Punjab. His father, Late Sukhwinder Singh Dhillon, served as a dedicated police officer in Punjab Police, while his mother, Smt. Jaspal Kaur Dhillon, provided a nurturing and supportive environment. Shamsher completed his schooling from various schools, showcasing his adaptability and resilience from an early age. He pursued his college education at Khalsa College, Amritsar, where he discovered his passion for acting. Since childhood, Shamsher had a keen interest in acting. He often ran from class to watch movies, and when caught, he would be beaten badly by his father, a testament to his unwavering dedication to his passion.

Struggles and Police Job

After the tragic death of his father during the terrorism period in Punjab, Shamsher faced significant hardships. Leaving his education, he had to join the police force immediately, putting aside all his dreams. This period was marked by immense struggle and sacrifice as he took on the responsibility of supporting his family. Despite the challenges, he fulfilled all family responsibilities with determination and dedication. His unwavering commitment to his family was a testament to his strength and resilience.

Theatre Involvement

Theatre Involvement: During his college days, Shamsher became deeply involved with theatre. With guidance from Gursharan Bhaji, he performed in numerous plays across different cities in Punjab. His commitment to theatre was evident as he honed his skills and learned the intricacies of acting. Inspired by his father, he enrolled in the medical stream at Luxmi Narayan College, Amritsar, where he acted in the one-act play "Saadhe Tinn Lattan Waala Meij" and was selected as the second-best actor by the judges of GNDU. This recognition highlighted his potential and talent in acting.

Shamsher also ventured into the digital space with web series, showcasing his adaptability and willingness to explore new mediums. His notable web series include:
